Overview

Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh was founded durring the early 16th century in winter of the year 1508, by Êrêv. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Êrêv.

Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh was built using the conventions of Undermountain durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh is buildings folow an organic layout of restrictive flagstone streets whihch gives the city a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The city has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The city's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.

Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

Points of Interest

Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh was unknowingly built atop something unstable, and now that substrate is crumbling. It may be swampy ground or a decaying coastline, or it could be an ancient buried city that’s now giving way. In the case of some antique habitation, the denizens that once lived there might be boiling upward as their home is collapsing, or new opportunities may be revealed even as the community’s present structure is ruined.

Qÿhtvehb Håb Feh's is something of a geological and arcane anomaly, as neither physical nor magical law entirely explains its formation.

POI
